1. the timing right
A self-guided implementation is going to require your full attention - make sure you plan ahead and schedule enough time to do it properly. Month end or your busiest sales months are probably best avoided!
2. Do your homework
Just like packing boxes ready to move house, you need to get your business data ready for the move. You know your data better than anyone so it's important not to rush this step. It's also a good time to have a clear out and archive any data you don't need in your new system.
3. Prepare your team
Training is essential to ensure your team can use the new system effectively. Launchpad comes with an extensive knowledge base of articles and on-demand training videos.
4. Checklist for Success
We have created a checklist for success to ensure you cover all the essential features and finance processes as you set up your data, and to make sure you're getting the most out of everything Business Central has to offer. You can also book a call with one of our digital consultants if you have any questions or want to learn more about what Business Central can do.
5. Go live with confidence!
Monitor the new system closely over the first few weeks to ensure it is all running smoothly. Make the most of the support available to you and ensure any issues are resolved as soon as possible.
6. Grow with your new system
Trying to implement too much at first can lead to frustration and reduced user adoption. Start with what you need, and once you're comfortable with the initial setup you can start making a list of what you'd like to achieve next.
